How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful pagan prayer bead is made of black Czech glass beads, red Czech glass beads, and glass pearl beads (all approximately 8 mm in diameter) on silver-plated wire; silver-plated chain; silver-plated round prayer box.

The beads are arranged in three groups of 9 beads with individual divider beads and a group of three beads leading to the prayer box. Open the prayer box and place a tiny, folded prayer or focus thought inside. The prayer box can also hold a very small talisman.

This prayer set represents the 3 Goddesses: Maiden, Mother and Crone. Especially useful for women going thru transitions from maiden to mother and from mother to crone.

Black symbolizes The Crone, resurrection, eternity and eternal life. Use for binding, banishments, establishing limitations, crone magic, and deep meditation. Its astrological planet is Saturn and North is its direction.Red symbolizes the Mother. Red signifies energy and vitality; stands for blood and thus menstruation, hunting, sacrifice and other ways of shedding blood. Red also represents the element fire and the cardinal direction South. Its astrological planet is Mars. Pearl symbolizes the Maiden. It represents purity, innocence, faithfulness, integrity and wisdom. It embodies spiritual purity and transformation. Provides an aura of calm and beauty. It represents the moon and is the astral sign for Gemini and Cancer.

Czech "druk" glass beads are high quality pressed glass beads, known the world over for beauty and durability. Heat and pressure produce a beautiful glass bead that can withstand heavy use. Normal glass beads tend to break and shatter after a short time. These beads are imported from the Czech Republic.
