How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful pagan prayer bead is made of 32 quartz ice flake beads (approximately 8 mm in diameter) on gold-plated wire, gold-plated chain, and gold-plated round prayer box. Open the prayer box and place a tiny, folded prayer or focus thought inside. The prayer box can also hold a very small talisman.

The beads are arranged in three groups of 9 beads with individual divider beads and a group of three beads leading to the prayer box. Called "krystallos" by the Greeks, they thought it was ice that was eternally frozen. These beads are hand-cut, fine quality quartz crystals that are heated then quickly cooled producing internal fractures that reflect light and colors in every direction.

Quartz represents the moon, mirrors and amplifies any energy it encounters. White represents purity, clarity, potential that has not yet been manifested. Astrologically, it represents the zodiac.

This pagan rosary is 11 inches long and is 16 inches in diameter. Hand-crafted and comes in a satin pouch.
