How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful pagan prayer bead is made of 32 green Czech glass beads (approximately 8 mm in diameter) on silver-plated wire, silver-plated chain, silver-plated round prayer box.

The beads are arranged in three groups of 9 beads with individual divider beads and a group of three beads leading to the prayer box. Open the prayer box and place a tiny, folded prayer or focus thought inside. The prayer box can also hold a very small talisman.

The green signifies nature and the natural world, Earth, fertility (as in plants and trees), sexuality and youth. Jade can be used in magical combat to reflect hostile spells back on the sender, to bless gardens, to work weather magic. Green also corresponds to the cardinal direction of North and the astrological planet of Venus.

Czech "druk" glass beads are high quality pressed glass beads, known the world over for beauty and durability. Heat and pressure produce a beautiful glass bead that can withstand heavy use. Normal glass beads tend to break and shatter after a short time. These beads are imported from the Czech Republic.

This pagan rosary is 11 inches long and is 16 inches in diameter. Hand-crafted and comes in a satin pouch.
