How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful Mala is made of 21 rosewood beads (red sandalwood) and matching Bodhi seed guru bead. The beads are approximately 8 mm in diameter, strung on extra strong elastic thread. This mala will fit a wrist 6 inches around and stretches out to 10 inches around. Tassel is made of 100% cotton.

This particular Mala is popular with Tibetan and Hindu Buddhists; legend has it that the rosewood tree came from heaven to earth. With regular use, this Mala will darken to a gorgeous antique finish.

Imported from Mysore, India where it was strung with Love and Prayers.

Comes with imported silk pouch (design and colors will vary), supporting women and children in the Kathmandu valley of Nepal.
