How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This wrist Mala has 21 clear druk beads that are 8mm in diameter. The guru bead is a Bodhi seed that is 10 mm in diameter.

Druk beads are high quality round glass beads imported from the Czech Republic. Heat and pressure produce a beautiful glass bead (druk) that can withstand heavy use. Normal glass beads tend to break and shatter after a short time.

Strung on a strong cord for durability, this Mala is 6 inches around and can stretch to 10 inches to fit your wrist.

This clear color represents clarity of thought.

Included is an embroidered silk pouch imported from the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. We purchase these pouches to help support the women and children in the valley.

The white cotton tassel has 108 individual strands. This wrist Mala is hand-made with love in the USA.
