How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This wrist Mala has 21 Chinese boxwood beads that are 8mm in diameter. The guru bead is a Bodhi seed that is 10 mm in diameter.

Strung on a strong cord for durability, this Mala is 5 inches around and can stretch to 9 inches to fit your wrist.

Boxwood is a traditional wood used in Malas.

Included is an embroidered silk pouch imported from the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. We purchase these pouches to help support the women and children in the valley.

The brown cotton tassel has 108 individual strands. This wrist Mala is hand-made with love in the USA.
