How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful Mala is made of yak bone beads with matching marker beads and guru bead. the beads will either be light or dark and will darken with age. The one hundred eight beads are approximately 9 mm in diameter, strung on extra strong thread. Tassel is made of 100% cotton. This mala is 14 inches long and is 28 inches in diameter so it can be comfortably worn around the neck.

Yak bone is used to contemplate death so that our lives become more fulfilling. The more we think and meditate upon death, the more we live life in each moment.
