How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This Mala has 108 sodalite beads that are 8mm in diameter. The guru bead is a blue goldstone bead that is 10 mm in diameter.

Strung on a silk cord for durability, this Mala is 31 inches in diameter so it can comfortably go around your neck.

Sodalite is a deep blue-violet stone accented with white streaks of calcite. It makes a great substitute for lapis lazuli because of the similar coloring. Sodalite is best known for bringing inner peace. Use this stone to encourage self-esteem. The color blue represents calm, peace and tranquility.

Included is an embroidered silk pouch imported from the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. We purchase these pouches to help support the women and children in the valley.

The blue cotton tassel has 108 individual strands. This Mala is hand-made with love in the USA.
