How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful Mala is made of rosewood (red sandalwood) with a matching guru bead. The one hundred eight beads are approximately 6-8 mm in diameter, strung on extra strong thread. Tassel is made of 100% cotton. This mala is 15 inches long and is 30 inches in diameter so it can be comfortably worn around the neck.

This particular Mala is popular with Tibet and Hindu Buddhists; legend has it that the rosewood tree came from heaven to earth. With regular use, this Mala will darken to a gorgeous antique finish.

Imported and strung with Love and Prayers.
