How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This Mala has 108 red jasper beads that are 8mm in diameter. The guru bead is a red jasper bead that is 10 mm in diameter.

Strung on a silk cord for durability, this Mala is 31 inches in diameter. The silk cord is not intended to stretch.

Red Jasper is a reminder to be kind to others. It is a nurturing stone that provides strength and courage to oneself. It is known to increase energy and calm emotional turmoil.

Included is an embroidered silk pouch imported from the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. We purchase these pouches to help support the women and children in the valley.
