How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This eye catching 59 bead rosary is made of job's tears beads, approximately 7-9mm long and 6-8 mm in width on silver-plated wire with silver-plated links, center and 2" sterling silver cross.

The beads are actually seeds that are named after Job, the biblical character in the Old Testament, who endured great suffering. The naturally occurring shape of the seed looks like tears. This grass seed has been used for centuries for beads and for food. Job's tears are often used in a rosary dedicated to the memory of lost loved ones. Job's Tears was the favorite rosary of Mother Teresa.
