How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This stunning rosary is made of carnelian beads, approximately 8mm in diameter with quartz ice flake cruciform beads on a silver-plated chain, silver-plated wire, with a Sterling silver cross. This rosary is 12 inches long and has an inside diameter of 18 inches.

The Swarovski cross is a silver-plated fancy filigree cross with AB grade clear Swarovski crystals. Swarovski is the world leader in crystals and just one look at the brilliance and depth of these crystals on this cross confirms that.

Once considered strictly the property of the nobility, carnelian is a stone frequently used in most Christian religions. Carnelian represents the 17th anniversary. This is a BC grade, machine-cut stone that has been dyed and heat treated to bring out that unique carnelian color.

Called "krystallos" by the Greeks, quartz was thought to be ice that was eternally frozen. These beads are hand-cut, fine quality ice flake quartz that are heated then quickly cooled producing internal fractures that reflect light and colors in every direction. Quartz is associated with April and represents the 10th anniversary.

This is the perfect rosary for those that have their 10th or 17th anniversary in the month of April! Its smooth surface makes it easy to hold and thus concentrate on your prayers.
