This beautiful rosary is made of carnelian beads, approximately 8 mm in diameter with black glass 8 mm cruciform beads on silver-plated wire, silver-plated chain, and a Sterling silver cross. It is 12 inches long and has an inside diameter of 18 inches. Once considered strictly the property of the nobility, carnelian is a stone frequently used in most Christian religions. Carnelian represents the 17th anniversary. This is a BC grade, machine-cut stone that has been dyed and heat treated to bring out that unique carnelian color.
