How a customer gave us a great variation.

Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This pretty 33 bead rosary is made of African jade beads that are approximately 8mm in diameter, and with quartz ice flake cruciform beads on gold-plated wire, strung on gold-plated chain, with 2" gold Swarovski crystal cross. The Swarovski cross is an antiqued gold-plated fancy filigree cross with AB grade emerald, peridot and topaz colored Swarovski crystals. Swarovski is the world leader in crystals and just one look at the brilliance and depth of these crystals on this cross confirms that.

African jade looks like expensive nephrite jade with its lush shades of avocado green swirls. This gemstone can be used to represent May's birthstone and the 12th anniversary.

Called "krystallos" by the Greeks, quartz was thought to be ice that was eternally frozen. These beads are hand-cut, fine quality ice flake quartz that are heated the quickly cooled producing internal fractures that reflect light and colors in every direction. Quartz is associated with April and represents the 10th anniversary. This is the perfect rosary to give for someone for the Spring.
