Michelle B. from Alexandria, VA suggested we try something different with our Buddhist wrist malas. The tassel on the mala can sometimes be ticklish if not downright bothersome. So we tried putting a knot and we tried putting nothing at all. Well, having nothing at all won out and we even reinforced the material used to string the beads. Thanks Michelle!!

This beautiful 33 bead rosary is made of Baltic amber beads, approximately 7mm in diameter with African jade cruciform beads on gold-plated wire, gold-plated chain, and 2" gold Swarovski crystal cross. The Swarovski cross is an antiqued gold-plated fancy filigree cross with AB grade emerald, peridot and topaz colored Swarovski crystals. Swarovski is the world leader in crystals and just one look at the brilliance and depth of these crystals on this cross confirms that.

Amber is tree sap from ancient trees that has become fossilized. To early Christians, amber signified the presence of the Lord. This is a natural Baltic amber that has been heated to bring out its color. This stone is B grade with slight inclusions. This is the perfect bead to use for November's birthstone and is traditional for any renewal of vows.

African jade looks like expensive nephrite jade with its lush shades of avocado green swirls. This gemstone can be used to represent May's birthstone and the 12th anniversary.
